Accessing help

Carveco includes several ways to access help, including the Help menu, in-line help, tooltips, and the status bar.

The Help menu

Use the Help menu on the Menu bar to access information about Carveco. Select:

  • Reference Help to display the Reference Help, which includes detailed information about the features available in Carveco.
    The keyboard shortcut is Shift+F1.

  • Getting Started to display the Getting Started guide.
  • Help Centre to display the Help Centre in a new browser window.
  • Community to display the Help Centre's Community area in a new browser window.
  • Website to display the Carveco website in a new browser window.
  • About Carveco to open a panel which displays version, build, license, and copyright information for your installation of Carveco. You can also use the panel to deactivate the Carveco license on your computer, export diagnostics information and display any trademarks and credits for third-party software.

    You can also access the Reference Help document, as well as this Getting Started guide and links to the Carveco Help Centre from the Help page on the start screen.

In-line help

Use the in-line help to access information about a specific panel.

To display the in-line help for a panel, click   in the panel's header. Click  again to hide the in-line help.

Tooltips and the status bar

Use tooltips and the status bar to view information about a specific toolbar button or menu option.

To display the help for a toolbar button or menu option, position the cursor over the button or option.
