Step 1: To create the model and import the piece of relief clipart
This section describes how to create the model and import the
lizard design from the Relief Clipart Library.
To create the model and import the piece of relief
clipart:
- Create the model:
- Display the New Model
dialog.
- Select mm as the Units.
- Enter a:
Width (X) of 500.
Height (Y) of 300.
- Specify a Resolution of
approximately 1500 x 900 points.
- Click OK.
- Import the lizard relief from the Relief Clipart Library:
- Display the Relief Clipart
Library panel.
- In the Choose Library
area, select Animals.
- Click the Lizard thumbnail. The Tool Settings:
Transform panel is displayed and the piece of relief clipart is shown
in the 3D view.
- At the bottom of the panel, click More options. The panel displays options for pasting
the relief clipart.
- Select the Add option.
- Select the Paste outline
vector check box.
- Click Paste. Carveco
adds the piece of relief clipart and displays the relief in the 3D view:
