To create geometric shapes
Use vector arcs, circles, ellipses, polygons, rectangles, and
stars when you want to create geometric shapes.
To create a geometric shape:
- Select Vector >
Create, and then the name of the geometric shape you want to create,
for example, Rectangle. The cursor changes to and the Tool Settings panel for
the vector shape is displayed.
- Click and drag the cursor to specify the size of the shape,
or to specify the distance between the start and end points if creating an arc.
- Release the mouse button.
- If you are creating a star shape, move the cursor to
specify the radius of the star's inner circle, then click.
- If you are creating an arc, move the cursor to specify the
radius of the arc, then click.
- Right-click to create the vector. The Tool Settings panel closes.
