To Import Reliefs
You can import reliefs from Carveco proprietary files, such as
.rlf and .art, and
from image files, such as .pix, .bmp, .dib, .rle, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .gif, .emf, .wmf, .tif, .tiff, .png, .ico, .wmf, and .emf.
To import a file as a relief:
- Select the 3D View tab
to display the 3D view.
- In the Project Tree, select the relief layer on which you
want to work.
- Select Relief > Import >
Import. The Relief Import dialog is
displayed.
- Select the file you want to import.
- If you selected a .bmp, .dib, .rle, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .gif, .emf, .wmf, .tif, .tiff, .png, or .ico file, specify
the relief's maximum Z height in the Max. Z
box.
- Click Open. The Open dialog closes, the relief is shown in the 3D
view, and the Tool Settings: Transform panel
is displayed.
- Use the panel to specify the relief's size, scale,
position, orientation, and shape.
