To machine a relief - example

This example describes how to create two machine-relief toolpaths from a relief to machine the following lizard design from a 500 x 300 x 45 mm block of material:

The toolpaths use two different-sized, ball-nosed tools for cutting away the material. The first toolpath uses the larger tool and is for removing the bulk of the material; the second toolpath uses the smaller tool and is for surface finishing the relief.

The lizard design is one of a collection of ready-to-use pieces of relief clipart provided with your Carveco installation. To use the lizard design, you must first download and install the collection of pieces of relief clipart to add them to the Relief Clipart Library.
